County Fair Wedding

This was such a fun wedding my friend Leslie and I did!  From the fabric banners that the cute brides mother sewed herself to the milk glass and paper doilies that added the vintage flair.  This was such a charming event for the close of summer.

So this summer my friend DeDe's son was getting married and I was delighted to go and create some amazing stuff with my super talented gal pals!  At the end of all the hard work and thought that goes into making a wedding great... it must be said that it is all about the details.  Now, a friend once shared with me that most people we do weddings for hardly notice all the details that we sweat and labor over for hours on end... and I would agree with her!  The truth is though, that is why I love still doing weddings after all these years, and it is also the reason why I still realize that what I do, not just anyone can recreate!

So from time to time I get the chance to go and play with my friends at Thanksgiving Point!  They put on a event for all the wedding bloggers around Utah, and this is a little glimpse at some of the floral work I did.  I must admit, I have some of the most creative friends!
