tip toe in the garden

My poor blog has been neglected!  There are not enough hours in the day to accomplish all my good intentions!  So when I am not doing events or weddings... I landscape.  I know a gal can spread herself too thin, but I am fortunate enough that most of my endeavors compliment each other.  I have been designing yards just as long as I have been designing weddings.  When I have a moment to catch my breath and look at the talent that I am able to percolate with miss mother nature.... I can only realize how richly blessed I am!

Ladies choice.....

The theme for the high school girls choice dance was Disneyland....  so the little miss had a clear idea of how we could decorate!  Miss Mindy had been working her magic before I got there with the centerpieces, so I took care of the tent and chairs.  We needed a couple of heaters since it is October in Utah and the kids were not coming in parkas, but in shorts and tshirts to look like true Disney  tourist!  It turned out to be a super cute night for the kids and Abi's dad had a great idea for hosting it in the backyard!

Urban Ballerina

This was a fun shoot downtown.....  Not only is Abi always a gem about getting pictures done, but I brought a very talented Madeline along with me to get her feet wet.  It is not always ideal conditions downtown between light and the pedestrian traffic, but Madeline did a great job on her first paying job!  Abi was a riot crossing in and out of commuter rail in toe shoes and needless to say the crowd was more then encouraging while they stopped to stare!

Krista.... Not your average beauty queen

Krista is a doll.....  no doubt about it and no way around it!  This little bride has been a sweet friend for years now and her mother and I were friends who met on the church pew.  She has ouzels of talent, and the most authentic beauty from the inside out!  Her wedding was a family affair were all aunts were cutting and sewing banners till the final hours to make her wedding drip all sorts of happiness from the rafters!  She has truly been a little angel to all that are so blessed to know her, and needless to say miss Pieper has always been a huge fan!
